![]() ![]() It's possible the harness connector at the back of the radio wasn't properly re-installed. ![]() Was your car subject to the front passenger side airbag recall, and was that work done? If so, when, in relation to you noticing the radio not working well? (Replacement of the airbag usually requires the dash to be disassembled, including removing the radio and HVAC control panel. The fuse is good and the lighter works but the main power to the radio has no juice. The fix (or 'hack'): pull the fuse (mine is listed as rear entertainment Fuse 1 in the secondary underhood fuse box). (clock works but never corrects the time). I'm in the Mountain Time Zone, and my clock always starts at 1:00 when I disconnect my battery. When the ignition is at ON, and the headlight switch is turned to the first (parking lights) or second (headlights) setting, do the lights in the radio controls (volume, preset stations, etc) come on? (This is independent of whether or not the radio itself is turned on.) The radio and the clock stopped working suddenly at the same time. Same issue here- 2006 MDX/original Map Disc. There may be a set procedure which if not followed, will result. When the ignition switch is turned from Off to ACC and then ON (engine not started), does the radio display come on with any indication at all? Assuming that the signal is still on, the following suggestions, in order of increasing difficulty, may help to improve reception of the MSF radio signal: Consult the manual for the clock before turning it on. Pin B of that switch failed on my 92 and took out the radio, A/C and a few other seemingly unrelated things I don't recall right now. The problem, then, could be in the wiring between the fuses and the radio or in the radio itself. Re: clock and radio not working could also be the electrical portion of the ignition switch located at the base of the steering column. If everything else powered by the two fuses that were changed earlier works properly, then then power sources for the radio, which are the same two, must be good. ![]()
